I’m back. Good to be back…
Hope everyone has gotten some good writing in. My last week didn’t go as planned, but it’s all good because tomorrow is the start of a new month, and I was still pretty productive.
I had water in my basement again, this time from a leaking water softener. Dry wall had to be torn out and I’m currently working at my kitchen table…probably will be that way for the next month or so.
I also had an invasion of Yellowjackets in my house that I had to deal with.
Top all that off with some other family stuff, and I had a week of very little writing. Today I’m still behind my quota but have set tomorrow as my “reset” day to get back to normal again.
This is why I spent tons of time writing more words than I needed to. As you can see, I’m still ahead of where I need to be, so I just need to start building my surplus again over the next month.
I spent quite a bit of time studying mega bestsellers as well. I’m focused on openings and setting right now. So the time has definitely not been wasted.
