Solid day today.
I started working on a secret project that could honestly end up in flames. It’s not a book—rather, it’s a tech project related to dictation. If it succeeds, holy crap. If it fails, it was a fun way to spend a couple of days and I will learn a lot.
I also successfully achieved my weekly quota today. I’m sitting at 3600 words for the day and about 20,000 words for the week. I will be getting in another dictation session tonight but for reasons I will discuss tomorrow night, I will apply any words I write from now onward to tomorrow’s count.
I sent my three most recent stories to my editor, so that’s another win today.
Tomorrow I am speaking at the Independent Book Publishers of New England (IBPNE). I’m doing a virtual talk on Be a Writing Machine.
