Quick update today. This weekend will be very brief updates unfortunately as I’ve got some speaking going on.
I hit my quota today at 2100 words and I’m sitting around 56,000 words. I’m still leading up to the final battle and I’m not even close yet. If I hit 2100 words tomorrow I still don’t think I’ll be at the final battle, so I am moving my word count project for this novel up slightly to 65,000 words. That means that the 56,0000 mark is not the 93% mark but possibly the 86% mark, which feels appropriate for where I am. But we’ll see.
Tomorrow should be a good writing day. Saturday will not be. Sunday should be so-so. We’ll see what happens, but I’m making progress, and that’s what matters.
