Great day today.
For reading, I finished IDW’s TMNT Vol. 8. Hoping it gets better…
For data analysis, I went through some of my Amazon ads and shut off a few ads that weren’t turning on or were eating up clicks. I cut my budget by about 10% but it shouldn’t have a material impact on my sales, but we’ll see.
For marketing, I made a pitch for a potential collaboration idea. We’ll see if it happens. I also provided paperback details to my cover design for Year of the Rat—I kept forgetting to do that.
I also did an assignment in the cover design course I’m in, which was useful as I start thinking about my covers.
For production, I wrote around 4,000 words today. I finished my current book so I just need to review that one final time before moving onto the next project. In the meantime, I’ll buoy my word count with chapters in the next Indie Author Confidential volume. If I run out of chapters, I’ll write a short story.
So far, I can’t complain and I’m staying steady on “pulp speed”. My new dictation workflow is paying off in a big way.
