0 words today, but that was planned. I spent the majority of the day researching for my next urban fantasy series. I definitely gleaned a lot of important information that I’ll be using in the novel, so it was a win.I found a book that was hyper-focused on the character type I’m writing, and it gave me very good insights into how to portray him.
I said I’d give myself a week to do foundational research. Might take me a little longer, but that’s ok. I’ll know when it’s the right time to start: when I can see the first scene in my head. Can’t see it yet. I still have some digging to do about the background of my villain. I’m going for the 3D sympathetic villain type this time around. That requires a bit more care.
Today was also a content day. Recorded a few episodes of Writing Tip of the Day and The Writer’s Journey and planned a video shoot tomorrow for Author Level Up. Beyond that, I didn’t get much else done, but pretty good all things considered.
LESSON LEARNED & EXECUTED
No ad work today though I should have done some. Not a big deal—I’ll still be profitable today, which marks 7 out of 7 of the last days being profitable, which is a marked improvement over last week. Definitely means that the stuff I did last week worked in a big way. My sales are up compared to this time last month by a decent amount.
