1047 words today. I’m cutting my quota from 2000 words to 1000 words for the next few days while I tie up loose ends and get ready to write the outlining book.
I got Cold Hard Magic edited and out the door to my editor. Should be back in a couple of weeks. That took every square inch of my brain power this evening after dinner, so the fact that I got it done makes today a pretty good day.
I also decided to use this down time to get my writing app book ready. It was my first Beast Mode book and I still haven’t published it yet. It’s already written but I have to take a bunch of pictures for it. The book is going to have a lot of images. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then I just have to take two pictures in order to hit my quota for the day LOL
In all seriousness, I do need to get this writing app book out the door so I focused on that today. It’s technically ready for my editor but I don’t want to ship it until all the photography is done. I’m setting a goal of 10 photos per day. That should get me to the finish line by end of the week, probably sooner.
In the meantime, I also wrote my words today toward Indie Author Confidential Vol. 7, and I also spent some time preparing my Writer’s Digest speech next Saturday.
All in all, a productive early morning and late evening.
Tomorrow, my focus will be on knocking out more of the photography for this writing book. I may have an extra chapter to write for the book, but it won’t be very long. Once I can get this done, it’ll be ready to go to the editor, and then the cover designer. I’d like to get this one pushed out by end of September.
