I missed two days in a row posting on this blog…but I’m not really concerned about it.
I was up well into the night on both nights recording and finalizing my Microsoft Word macro videos for my upcoming book on editing, so I was incredibly productive. It just got so late that I couldn’t get to these posts.
I didn’t realize it until two days in, and I just shrugged. I’m officially done with the editing book—the book’s interior is finalized and I made the order for the cover design today, which should be back Tuesday or Wednesday, which will let me publish just before the holiday. Not sure if the book will be available by then though.
I also compiled the Beast Mode Collection pack that I did last year. This year it will be 8 books—nonfiction only. My fiction is still in KU so I can’t include that unfortunately. But like last year, anyone who buys the book directly from me will be entered into a drawing for one(1) free consultation session with me. You all know I don’t do coaching—I’m interested in other things, but I like to do these sessions to just chat about whatever’s on your mind, and if there’s any way I can assist or offer some guidance, I’m happy to do that. I’m bringing that back for this year.
The Beast Mode Collection will go on sale just before the holiday, as soon as I get the final cover for my editing book. Expect an email notification if you’re on my email list + notification on my blog and social channels.
Now, I feel like I can move forward. I’ve said that about five times so far already, but now I feel pretty good. My QA project was a gigantic time-suck that is mostly over now. I’ve officially got all the Beast Mode stuff wrapped up. Now it’s time to decide what to do next.
I’m writing a book around my QA project, and I’m deciding on whether that will become a full-fledge course as well. There’s a lot of material to cover, but we’ll see how it all shakes out.
I’m off to get some writing in—it’ll be good to be back to my regular daily quota. There’s still a lot of 2021 left.
Oh, and folks, don’t forget about the NaNoWriMo bundle I’m participating in. Early feedback is that the books are FIRE and people are finding it very helpful for the challenge. 16 books, pay-what-you-want, and some really good advice. www.storybundle.com/nano
