Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy…More on my predicament in a bit…
For reading, I kept up on The Boys from Biloxi by John Grisham. I’m reserving my opinion until I finish. It’s keeping me reading but it’s definitely a different Grisham book.
For data analysis, I worked with Google Play and figured out a metadata issue with one of my series. It’s fixed now and should be resolved on the retailer in about 1-2 days.
For marketing, I wrote an article for a Kickstarter I was a part of last year. It’s a bonus we’re offering to backers.
For production, I have a dilemma…
You see, I am approximately 57,000 words behind hitting my goal of 1.2 million words before August 31. Yikes…
Let me explain why this is so problematic.
I am 57,000 words behind. Meaning, I have to write 57,000 words just to be on track. ON TRACK, without missing any days. If I miss a day, I’m behind again.
Oh, and I have to continue writing 2750 words per day minimum. Whoa…
My goal is to catch up in a big way sometime before February 28. I have some travel in January that will interrupt my productivity but I think I can make the most of the month. But honestly, that starts with making the most of the rest of December, and there’s still a lot of December left, folks.
The mission: Reduce my deficit to 50,000 words by January 1. Beyond that, we’ll see. But if I can pull this off, it will be an epic comeback.
Anyhoo, I’m writing this blog post early so I can focus on words. Time to get this party started!!!!!
