400 words. I did a lot today again. Like I said, I’m trying to clear this current logjam.
THE GOOD NECROMANCER:
Patrons received their copies of Cold Hard Magic last night. I wrote email launch newsletters for Cold Hard Magic. It will go to my audience on Sep. 8.
The website is updated and ready for launch.
THE CHICAGO RAT SHIFTER:
The Chicago Rat Shifter launch emails will go out the week of Sep. 13. I just have to manage my email communications carefully when I’m launching this many books close to each other. ARC readers received their copies of Book 1 this morning.
The website is updated and ready for publishing. I just need buy links to finish the pages.
Patrons will receive The Rat Shifter books sometime this weekend. Again, I’m trying to manage this carefully since they just got a book yesterday. Trying to space it out a little.
(As a side note, I did actually publish the Rat Shifter series this morning and it’s available on Amazon if you want to search for it. I’m just not announcing it OFFICIALLY yet for a few days. Wink, wink…)
THE SELF-PUBLISHING ADVICE COMPENDIUM:
I forgot that I had another book waiting in the wings that I hadn’t gotten around to yet. It was my 250+ Writing Tips Book Vol. 2. I’ve decided to rebrand the series as The Self-Publishing Advice Compendium. It will comprise the original Vols 1-2 and it will be a main title in my flagship writing series. I got that sent off to my designer today. I should have the cover back Sunday morning, which means that I can publish on Monday.
HOW TO WRITE A BOOK WITHOUT AN OUTLINE:
I settled on the official title and got the cover design planned out. I’ll announce the title later but I like it.
WRITING APP BOOK:
I settled on a title as well and got the design planned out. I’ll be able to ship this off to my designer sometime next week, with publication likely around next weekend.
Anyhoo, things are moving light-speed right now and I’ve got a lot of balls in the air. Not to mention continuing to write new words every day. Such is the Beast Mode, life friends.
Anyway, I’ve got a book to announce.
INTRODUCING…COLD HARD MAGIC (THE GOOD NECROMANCER, BOOK 2)
It turns out that messing with the dead can get you into trouble with the police.
I didn’t get back into necromancy for fun. I did it for self-protection. My undead servant, Bo, and I have been living in secret since my last adventure.
But now a detective wants to talk to me, and he’s not taking no for an answer. And a mysterious woman is threatening to kill me if I talk to him.
Do you think I’m going to admit to necromancy and go to jail? Nope.
Do you think I’m going to let some random supernatural boss me around? Sheeeeet…
But it’s one or the other, and I don’t have anyone I can trust. The only thing that will get me out of this is some cold hard magic.
