3100 words. Vote on my second Beast Mode book below. I am not done yet, so my final total will probably be somewhere close to 3500-4000. I’ll add the remainder onto tomorrow’s count.
Got a lot of writing time in but I was definitely on the go today, so all the words came from my phone. If it weren’t for my phone, this would have been a zero day. But I have 3100-3800 words to show for it, and that’s a beautiful thing.
I also got the cover for Indie Author Confidential Vol. 6 today. The book is loaded into Vellum and ready to publish. I’ve got a lot going on over the next few days so I’ll publish it next week. My patrons on Patreon did get it today though.
My developer sent me a rough first draft of this new tool I’m building and I played around with it. Pretty rough, but definitely true to my vision.
I knocked my emails down to inbox zero, which was another win.
Today was a breakthrough day. I THINK I’m around the 80% mark of the book. This will be a short one, but there’s a twist. It’s going to have lots of images. A lot. (And yes I know it’s against conventional wisdom, but oh well. Needs to be done. No way around it.) So even though the book is almost done, there’s a lot more work to do. I need to take photos and also finish the free tool I’m building. The tool alone pretty much doubles the value of the book. So this will be fun. I’d be surprised if the book clocks higher than 20,000 at this point, though I have at least another day or two of writing left.
Because I hit the 80% mark, it’s time to vote on the next book y’all want me to write. There are 5 books on the list. I have a master list of about 15 books. Once you all vote for one, I’ll add another to the list.
