4700 words today. Yessir!
I was less “Beast Mode-y” though. I got an early start at 5:30AM which set me up nicely for the day. I didn’t dictate while doing chores. Actually, I didn’t dictate at all today. I would have probably hit around 6000-7000 words if I did. Today was a good day.
Tomorrow should be smooth sailing too but we’ll see. I’m also expecting 250+ Writing Tips Vol. 2 back from the editor any day now. Once that happens I’ll get the cover ordered. It’ll probably be ready to publish early next week.
I got an opportunity to pitch a speaking event talk today and I came up with possibly what was the most obnoxious pitch I’ve ever done. Obnoxious in a good way, of course. I’ll share the copy if it gets accepted. It’s got a 50/50 chance. If it succeeds, it’ll be a funny story. If it fails, it’ll be a funny story too. I had 10 minutes to get this done, and I’m shocked I even came up with something.
