4105 words today. Another killer day, but I’m not done yet. The novel is sitting at 68,000, which officially makes it my longest novel ever. I might break 70K at this point, which is insane.
Thanks to everyone who showed up for the Power Hour Today. I did around 2000 words for the power hour, so about half of today’s word count.
I’m still writing the final battle. The final battle has two phases and I’m now into the second phase, right in the middle. I have one more twist to do before I write the final final battle sequence.
Ironically enough, I know how the story is going to end, but I still don’t know how I’m going to get there. It’s an odd place to be, but I just keep telling myself that I’ve only got a few minor problems to solve before I’m done.
I definitely won’t finish the novel tonight, but tomorrow…maybe. If not tomorrow, then hopefully Monday for sure. Like I said, I know exactly how this is going to end. I just have to get there.
