I spoke at ProWritingAid’s Crime Writer’s Week. The topic was Writing in Hard Times, which was based on my course. I offered some strategies for people to think about their writing as a business and most importantly, how to protect it. Glad to get that done, and a few folks wrote me afterward so I know the message at least reached some. It’s not the sexiest topic in the world, that’s for sure.
Speaking engagements always tire me out more than I think they do. I ended up falling asleep on the couch watching YouTube today…LOL
For those who missed it, I shared my hack for making eye contact on Zoom Calls/Teams Calls/Skype Calls. I think YouTube suppresses community posts with video links in them so letting people know again in case you want to watch it. Look up yesterday’s post and you’ll see it.
I am woefully behind on email as well as Indie Author Confidential Vol. 5. I’ll probably be working on that this weekend.
