13,000 words. The book on How to Write Without an Outline is done!!!
I finished faster than I thought, so it’s that time, folks. Go ahead and vote on my next Beast Mode book:
https://forms.gle/EqfZLCp3E2iaHFDE7
Voting ends Wednesday night around 9PM or whenever I post this blog.
You’ll notice I removed novels from this round. Many of you have been voting for the strategy book, dictation book, and Writing Craft Playbook Vol. 2. Out of fairness, I want those people to have another shake at these three before I add more books to the list. After that, I expect that many will vote on a novel, and that will more than likely take me up to the end of the Beast Mode Challenge, or very close to it.
Anyhoo, the Writing without an Outline book was fun. Thanks for voting on it!!
My next steps tomorrow will be to do a final loop and prepare it for beta readers. Betas, if you’re chosen, expect an email around Wednesday. If you’re not chosen, also expect an email around Wednesday.
To make this as fair as possible, I will be doing a random drawing. So if you’re not selected, know that it was because I didn’t pick your number. But you’ll still get an ARC of the book next month, so no worries.
My proofreader sent the edits back for Rat City, so I need to go through those as well, but it probably won’t be tomorrow. Once I do, the folks who requested ARCs of the Chicago Rat Shifter series will get them. It will be by end of the week.
I’ve got a lot of stuff cooking. Over the next couple weeks, there’s going to be a lot of activity. Fair warning. 🙂
Have a good night.
