I wrote 1500 words today, which is fantastic given my zero streak the last few days.

I spent the day cleaning and organizing my garage. I even got to play with my pressure washer, and I pretended that the wand was a Tommy gun every time I sprayed water at something. And I kept saying “say hello to my little friend,” which made my wife roll her eyes. Ah, the life of a writer and a dad…

I had some computer issues over the last few days that I kept putting off because I didn’t have the bandwidth to deal with them. Fortunately, I got everything worked out but it took me a little longer than I would have liked. I had to upgrade some apps, too because I upgraded my Mac to Big Sur. I hate, hate, hate Mac OS updates.

I also got my inbox down to zero. Many of you who have emailed me over the last two weeks should now have a response in your inbox. If not, send the email again.

I wrote two chapters toward the next volume of Indie Author Confidential. I’m behind schedule on it and need to get it done by end of the month in order to publish on time for second quarter. I’ve got a long way to go, but if I do a couple chapters a day, I’ll get there.

It felt good to get some writing done for change. Looking forward, and my goal is to beat today’s word count.

Have a good night.
