3200 words today. I had a great power hour, though we had some technical issues. Thanks to everyone who stuck through them. Folks had great questions this week—I spent a lot of time answering them.
3200 words of fiction is a pretty good day, and I can’t complain. I’m just shy of 30K on the manuscript, which I should pass tomorrow. I’m just focused on hitting my minimums as early in the day as I can, and then getting in any extra words I can. It all adds up.
I wrote 20,500 words this week. If I do the same next week, I’ll be done with the novel this time next week.
I finished reading The Relaxed Author by Joanna Penn and Mark Leslie Lefebvre today, and I’d highly recommend it.
I also started taking a course from Dean Wesley Smith—Character Tags. Very interesting so far.
I should get the cover for my dictation book tomorrow, so I plan to publish if possible. I have some additional work to do on the editing book so that one won’t be ready for a while—I still need to record a course and create some images for it, which will take a little thought. I likely won’t start that until I finish Spirit Chaser. I am focusing all my available energy on finishing this novel ahead of my deadline.
My book on pantsing is available but it hasn’t populated on Google or Apple yet. I’ll announce it when it’s available there. If you want to grab it early, it’s called The Pocket Guide to Pantsing. I’ll announce it officially soon.
