Wrote 1000 words today. Felt good. Also got some good reading time in.
I suffered another ad blood bath today, but it’s all good.
Just wanted to say how much I appreciate all of you for reading this and for following me over the years. If you celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you and your families have a nice weekend, stay safe, and stay healthy. Don’t take any unnecessary risks if you don’t have to.
There’s a lot we can worry about in these trying times. Especially about our writing careers, our books, and how we can hold it all together.
But we can also choose to be happy in the right now, even when it sure as heck doesn’t feel like that. And we can also choose to be grateful. Both of those are conscious choices that are underrated in my opinion.
So, be happy. Be grateful. 2020 is almost over, and for that, I sure as heck am grateful.
I’m also grateful for a beautiful sunset I watched tonight while driving. The colors were so savory—reminded me of medium rare beef, teriyaki sauce, and sesame seeds. I called it the teriyaki beef sunset. The colors were on point. So yeah, I try to find gratitude everywhere. 🙂
