3700 words today. Very good day today, and exactly what I needed after a goose egg yesterday. I shot for 4,000 but 3700 brought me neatly to the end of a chapter, so I’ll take it.
The last two Good Necromancer books have been exactly 50,000 words, so if that trend holds, I’m around 17% done with the book. Pretty cool. I still have no idea what is going to happen next. This novel, way more than the last one, is a true pantsing experience. I’m literally making this up as I go. Every session I sit down is pure improvisation. That’s a lot of fun.
I had to cancel the power hour this morning, but I got back on the horse and got some good words in today. Sorry to this who were waiting on the Power Hour. I’m scheduling the next power hour for Saturday, Oct. 9. Next weekend I’ll be unavailable.
I finally got the writing without an outline book off to my cover designer yesterday. I hope to have it back tomorrow. I will publish it Sunday night, assuming the cover comes back okay and doesn’t need revisions.
