About 2000 words today. Feels good to be back on the writing horse. I’m brimming with ideas too. My next book will be about how to manage your books. It will probably be around 30-50K, but I’m always hilariously wrong with my estimates. My next book after that will be The Good Necromancer Book 4, which means I need to start thinking about the cover. The series will be getting a cover rebrand next year, starting with Book 4. I may also bring the series under my Michael La Ronn pen name. I haven’t decided yet.
Anyhoo, I got the hardcover for Android X published and it should be available tomorrow. I also started following up on the books I republished during my quality checks. For the most part, everything got published correctly.
For the ones that didn’t, the culprit was KDP Print, surprisingly. The correct versions show up on the KDP dashboard but not for sale. And it’s not for all of my books—just a few. It could be that the new versions of the books need a little more time to show up. Or it could be a systems issue with Amazon. But this is exactly why you always follow up a week or so after you publish something.
Anyway, time to do some more writing. Have a good night.
Oh, and folks, don’t forget about the NaNoWriMo bundle I’m participating in. Early feedback is that the books are FIRE and people are finding it very helpful for the challenge. 16 books, pay-what-you-want, and some really good advice. www.storybundle.com/nano
