1200 words today, with some more time to hopefully get another writing session in. I’m just shy of 7000 word for the total manuscript, so well behind where I’d like to be, but that’s okay. I’m just keeping at it every day and I’ll get there, hopefully by end of month. It would be nice to end the year with a novel.
I made progress on clearing out some old tasks from my to-do list so I’m getting a lot closer to starting 2022 completely fresh.
I got my “cover design template” back from my designer today and it looks pretty good. I need to tweak it though, but I now have a PSD that I can use as the basis for all my book covers moving forward. I played around with the template and learned how to do a couple Photoshop tricks. The designer laid out everything nice and easy for me to adjust and tweak. This will make learning much, much easier moving forward because I have an ebook, paperback, and audio template to use.
