1100 words so far. Had a slow day today. I slept in for a change so I didn’t have a morning writing session, so I’m hitting my words late in the evening. Sometimes it goes like that.

I didn’t get a chance to announce my book either. Maybe tomorrow night.

I did get the dictation book and the editing book off to my proofreader today so that was a win.

I also tested a tool my developer built for me, and it failed. My idea didn’t work unfortunately. I’ll write about it in Indie Author Confidential, but suffice to say it was sad to have to scrap production of it. Sometimes it happens. My batting average is pretty good so far though!

Anyhoo, I’m going to see if I can get in 900 words or so before bed. Even if I don’t hit my minimum of 2,000, I can hopefully go to bed knowing that I got pretty close to it. Days like this don’t bother me at all, because just last week, I was hitting 7,000-word days. The law of averages always works in your favor as long as you sit down and do the work.

As far as the story goes, it’s going. I can see what will happen in the next two chapters or so, and I’m curious where this novel will take me. I still don’t know who the villain is yet……….and that’s fascinating to me.
