I started Book 4 of the Good Necromancer today, but my mind was constantly wandering. I listened and consumed a lot of content today: music, YouTube, novels, etc. I take it as a sign from my subconscious that I’m not quite ready to advance in the story yet because there’s something out there that I need to find/experience before I can continue with the narrative. I always listen when my subconscious tells me to, and I’m usually always rewarded.
I listened to/watched a lot of jazz today, watched a few episodes of The Wire, some TED Talks about the drug trade, and read some Dean Koontz. It’s all mixing together in weirdly, let me put it that way. But I’m liking the path I’m going down…
Anyhoo, I’m going to sleep on the story tonight and see where I end up tomorrow.
