1000 words today. I got the writing without an outline book off to my copyeditor. It’ll be back either late next week or slightly after that. Then it’s off to my proofreader and finally, cover designer and publication. I’m aiming for a late September launch date.
I started the dictation book. I did some market research and figured out my “angle.” There aren’t many dictation books on the market (there’s around 10), but they all cover very similar ground. I don’t want to rehash the same stuff, so I had to think about this one carefully. I’ll share more as it develops. I’m doing something radically different with this book that is an interesting experiment for a future series I’m thinking about.
Anyway, I did about 1000 words today. 500 of them were toward Indie Author Confidential, the other 500 were toward the dictation book.
Also, I’m going to walk the walk and commit to dictating the entire dictation book. I mean, that just makes sense and gives me street cred, right?
