2427 words today. I beat my word count yesterday, which is a beautiful thing.
I’m getting closer, but I still don’t see the end yet. The chapters I wrote today were definitely longer than I expected so I can’t see anything new yet. We’ll see what tomorrow brings. This novel may be closer to 50K now. I don’t see it ending anywhere in the next 2-5K just yet.
I got the book off to my “city” consultants today. They have everything they need and are fairly certain they can give me feedback by end of the weekend. I should also get the next iteration of the illustrated book cover sometime in the next few days, maybe early next week.
Some more items for my desk came today and I was able to get a few more things situated. I mounted my external hard drive under the desk as well as my audio interface. Now I have a lot more space up top, which is great.
Anyhoo, all is good. We’re having a blizzard in Iowa right now. We have about 3-4 inches of snow right now and 40-50 mph gusts of wind. So I’m staying in, staying safe, and hoping to God my snowblower will start tomorrow.
