2500 words. I started the morning fresh with a speaking engagement at 9AM. I am giving a prerecorded talk at this year’s Inkers Con, which is one of the biggest self-publishing conferences. It’s AMAZINGLY well-run. I did a talk on Be a Writing Machine, and it was about 40 minutes.

If you’re interested in attending Inkers Con, visit the link at www.inkerscon.com and use the coupon code LARONN for $50 off. This is definitely going to be a good one this year. It’s all virtual this year too.

I also did some marketing today. I refreshed the back matter of my Indie Author Confidential series to put clear calls to action to read the next volume in the series. I included a picture of the volume and a link. This way, when someone reads Vol. 1, it tells them to read Vol. 2, and so on. It’ll help to improve sales in the long-term.

I also noticed that Vol. 1 of the series has my author name in black instead of white like the rest of the series. It’s not a huge deal but once I noticed it couldn’t stop thinking about it. My designer delivered the new edited cover today and I uploaded it across all retailers. Problem will be fixed soon.

Authors, Steal This Book finally went permafree on Amazon so that’s nice. I created some Amazon Ads to throw at it to help it a little.

I also got my custom design back for the cover of the next 250+ Writing Tips book. I decided to go ahead and collapse the entire series into one book and unpublish the first one. It’s not ideal because it shrinks my portfolio, but it’s better for readers, and I can fold it into my existing writing guide series instead of having a separate series to maintain.

I also uncovered some very old short stories that I completely forgot about. Reading through them was fun/

Anyway, big marketing day today. Tomorrow I’ll get back to words.

Have a good night.
