800 words. It’s my birthday today. I started writing Cold Hard Magic again, so that’s a nice win.

This is another novel I left off in the middle. This one is tougher because it’s been around 18 months since I started it.

And I left off in the worst possible place. Here is where the novel LITERALLY leaves off:

“Ah ha,” Joyner said. “I understand now. Well, Lester, do you want the bad news or the godawful news first?”

And I had ZERO CLUE what either the good news or the bad news is LOL

I THINK the answer to this riddle is a Venus flytrap. But we’ll see. I’ll stop being cryptic; you’ll find out when you read the book…

Oh, the life of writing into the dark…

Anyway, I spent a lot of time today refreshing and reviewing my outline for the series. That’s slowing me down, but it’s going to make EVERYTHING waaaay easier when I get to book 3. So, I am spending time now to flesh out the outline (for the parts I’ve already written—to be clear) so I can spend less time doing it later. I’ve definitely leveled up my writing into the dark outlining game, and this will be an important step forward that will make me a better content creator.

Also, you may notice that I published a YouTube video today. Yay me! I’m slowly getting back into the game. But do check out the video. I know a lot of people weren’t keen on PerfectIt, but this app has really been a game changer for me and my editing sessions. It’s criminally underrated and I’ll keep saying that until someone listens.

Anyhoo, today was a good day. I fell short of my goal, but it was still very productive.
