1300 words today. Today was a pretty good writing day. It wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t bad, either. I’m just shy of my “current” average of about 1500 words per day.
Sometimes my average is around 2000-3000 words. Other times it’s a bit lower. The key is that I’m making progress.
I crossed the 33% threshold of my current work-in-progress today. I need to publish by end of June in order to keep my publication schedule. With Memorial Day coming up, I’ll have a lot of time this weekend to get even more writing in. And I also have the ability to switch into beast mode if absolutely needed, but I won’t unless I have to.
Just keep chipping away at your books, folks. Especially if you’re parents or have other obligations. Progress is progress no matter how small.
